Jane Schoenbrun tells us how ‘TEENAGE SEX AND DEATH AT CAMP MIASMA’ pays genuine homage to 80’s slashers. “It’s essential if it’s going to feel authentic instead of like a bad impression. I think so often we’re used to seeing 80’s slasher pastiche that’s kind of surface level.”

I was happy about Netflix buying WB specifically because I knew how much worse it would be if Paramount bought WB. Just because two options are bad doesn't mean you should discount how worse one option is compared to the other.

The best MCU Spider-Man film by far. I was swept up by the mystery surrounding Sadie Sink's character, Peter Parker's tragic relationship with his friends, the Punisher, Damage Control, the V Max thing, etc. Exceeded my expectations. A brilliantly handled sci-fi thriller.
