Welp, day 2 at the new job. Starting at 7am today. I figured out how to get myself clocked in but they didn’t tell me where I’m supposed to be and I was told my office was in 1 building and I found my department but I can’t access it? Now I’m trying to call my lead to see where to go 😆

Heading back home from Tahoe. It was far colder than we expected. We gambled twice. Tuesday was not kind to me, lost nearly $200… driving home today having gained $61 after having what can only be explained as the best Time ever at a table playing blackjack for 4hrs straight 😆 winning 🥳

Trying to finish up packing for our Tahoe trip this morning… the weather has changed a bit and now it’s going to be anywhere from the 40’s to low 60’s with rain possible on Thursday and Friday… which means I’m now allowed to bring an extra bag for shoes alone because I need to be prepared 😆

You guys… I spend every night listening to my new neighbor’s 2 little girls playing and squealing and it’s such a joy! My mom’s brought sunflowers over to them! Today they brought cake and cookies that were leftover from their eldest, 6th birthday 🥹 I love our neighbors so much 😍
I have some exciting news. I have accepted a job offer at a new hospital, closer to home and for the hospital directly. I will be doing the same thing I was, assisting folks obtaining health insurance. Now directly in my community. I got a nice little raise. A pension after 5yrs. 1/2
