I want school to start so that I do not feel obligated to feed the kid lunch. He doesn’t eat it at achool, and he rarely eats it at home, so it’s not like anything is different. It’s just that I feel guilty when he’s home and he won’t eat. And I feel obligated to make him something.

Years ago I coined the milleneuve, which is a unit to measure how horrible the sky color is based on Villeneuve films. Blade Runner 2049 is around 900mn. Today is around 250 I'd say. (It's a very scientific scale.)

I’m about to be the only person on my team. This has happened twice since I started in 2022. This time will be better but I’m much more sad about it.

This is making me exponentially more mad than the ridiculous preview.

I’m sure someone has said this before, but it just hit me that a big chunk of what the Trump admin is doing is trying to do govt by Airbud rules, i.e., the law doesn’t say we *can’t* do that. They’re ignoring the plain text a good chunk of the time, too, obvs. They’re doing both.

I don't know who needs to hear this but you can (safely) put googly eyes on your potted plants by taping/gluing the googly eyes to toothpicks and sticking them in the soil
