Years ago I coined the milleneuve, which is a unit to measure how horrible the sky color is based on Villeneuve films. Blade Runner 2049 is around 900mn. Today is around 250 I'd say. (It's a very scientific scale.)

I’m about to be the only person on my team. This has happened twice since I started in 2022. This time will be better but I’m much more sad about it.

This is making me exponentially more mad than the ridiculous preview.

I love writing. I love the struggle of figuring out how to order a whole bunch of ideas, and the satisfaction that comes with getting everything just right. I also hate this process immensely.

I’m sure someone has said this before, but it just hit me that a big chunk of what the Trump admin is doing is trying to do govt by Airbud rules, i.e., the law doesn’t say we *can’t* do that. They’re ignoring the plain text a good chunk of the time, too, obvs. They’re doing both.

Tom and I could have a 21 year old, or even a 24 year old if I got pregnant before we got married. We have a 12 year old and boy am I glad we waited. And waited. And waited.

I don't know who needs to hear this but you can (safely) put googly eyes on your potted plants by taping/gluing the googly eyes to toothpicks and sticking them in the soil
