Please remember that it's us that moves posts around on Bluesky, there's not a central algorithm like Twitter or Tumblr or Instagram. If you like art, repost art! Leave comment on art! Even if it's just emotes, it means the world to every artist.

I've been quite inactive finishing a school program + inundated with real life stuff among other things... but! For once, I have a free July! So I'm joining AF casually this year for the first time!! Hoping it gives me a chance to warm up/start posting some art again! artfight.net/~Cherivinca
The government is asking for public comments on whether banks should be able to deny you from buying legal goods at their own whim (i.e. how they're cracking down on art) Tell them you don't want to be told how to spend your money www.federalreserve.gov/apps/proposa...

For further context twitter added a button that allows users to generate ai images using existing art posts from artists. It removes glaze and it basically reskins the artwork by using the existing work as a base. Twitter is no longer a safe space for art
Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.
Also, congratulations everyone who made something this year. A comic, a song, a film, a novel, a painting, a poem, a short story, a sculpture, crochet, embroidery, whatever it is. In this era of slop and theft, if you *make* something you are a shining jewel and I am so grateful for you.
I've never done an art train so I hope this is correct...!! ❣🚄 @zeiky.bsky.social @sleepyturt.bsky.social @mossie55.bsky.social
