I still suspect a lot of the reason Doug Ford is so anti-speed cameras is the fact that they don't care who's breaking the speed limit. A cop doing a radar gun speed trap will probably let politicians and influential business folks off the hook from time to time. A speed camera doesn't.

Last year, another person held there also died. On December 11, 2025, Jean Wilson Brutus (age 41) was transported to the hospital from Delaney Hall. He died the next day.
