The highlight of my Christmas has been seeing my kids have a great day, but finally beating my dad in chess is a close second.
I watched Train Dreams last night. It was beautiful, haunting, and heart wrenching. One of the best films I’ve seen in a long time. The soundtrack, by Bryce Dessner (of The National), was also phenomenal. Highly recommend.
