Pretty sure that's how it happened with Star Fox after its Direct. FE will likely get it's special release either this week, or on release day next month.

I think the movie did a fantastic job capturing the heart and spirit of NYC and the role Spider-Man plays in it, especially when he's been doing it for years and years. Scenes between Spidey and Punisher were fantastic, too.
