On the 1st Day of Christmas ReSET told me about... 1 Amazing Project 🌈🎁 ReSET is more than a study - it’s a collaborative effort of researchers, schools, teachers, students, caregivers, and clinicians. Here’s to the journey and promising results so far - and what’s still to come!! #12DaysofReSET

Happy Holidays from the ReSET Team!🎄❄️ We hope you have a festive period filled with joy, laughter, and plenty of celebrations. ReSET has enjoyed the festivities - decorating our office, filming holiday related content, festive lunches, and office christmas party. 🥂

On the 2nd Day of Christmas ReSET told me about... 2 Professors had an idea 💡🎓 It all started with a conversation between Professors Essi Viding and Pasco Fearon. They saw the growing need for adolescent mental health support, and imagined a school-based, preventative, transdiagnostic intervention.

On the 3rd Day of Christmas ReSET told me about... 3 Assessment Timepoints 🧠📈 We tracked our participants over 2-3 years, checking in on their wellbeing, peer relationships, and social-emotional development.

On the 4th Day of Christmas ReSET told me about... 4 Years Running 🕰️📆 From 2021 to 2025, ReSET’s been on the move - designing, delivering, evaluating and reflecting. Now we’re in the final stretch: analysing results, writing up findings, and sharing what we’ve learned!

On the 5th Day of Christmas ReSET told me about... 560 Participants 👨👩👧👦🎉 We aimed for 540... and smashed it. Across 28 groups, over 560 young people took part in ReSET — split almost evenly between intervention and control.

On the 6th Day of Christmas ReSET told me about... 6 Publications (so far!) 📚🖋️ Even with all the busyness of the last 4 years, we still managed to publish! 💪 From evaluations of the feasibility study to development insights, ReSET’s made its mark in academic journals - and we’re not done yet!

On the 7th Day of Christmas ReSET told me about ... 7 South-East Councils 🗺️📍 ReSET's gone nation-wide! While the majority of our groups ran within Central London and surrounding boroughs, we also travelled as far as Kent - visits to each school ranging from 11 to well over 100 times!🏃

On the 8th Day of Christmas ReSET told me about ... 8 Week Intervention 📆 Those allocated to the intervention arm were invited to attend the 8 week intervention. Consisting of a session a week, focusing on developing skills for emotional processing & relational skills.
