desert husbands and how they sleep (1/2) #codywan

Obi-wan and Cody sleeping together in bed on Tatooine. It is early morning, when the temperature is still cool and only one of Tatooine's suns is up. Obi-wan's face is pressed into Cody's hair and he has one arm thrown over Cody's shoulders, clutching him. A lone streak of orange sunlight peeks through and shines onto the sleeping couple.

I bought a standee from @jasminebythebay.bsky.social and took a picture of it in action.

A wooden standee with some movement. There's ketchup.

2 warriors and a pacifist // 2 peacemakers and a bounty hunter // 2 mandos and a jedi #obiwankenobi | #satinekryze | #jangofett | #starwars

Art of Padawan Obi-wan Kenobi, who is in his late-teens/early-adulthood, a young Jango Fett, and a young Satine Kryze during Obi-wan's mission guarding Satine.
Obi-wan is in the center and he wears standard Jedi robes. His hair is also slightly long and tousled, effecting the 90s teenage heart throb look. Jango is on the right and looks fairly similar to his adult self. Satine is on the left with hair tied in a ponytail and wearing silver and teal beskar armor with a black undersuit and a blue tunic.

Obi-wan, with his fists at his side yells at Satine while Jango sneers at her. Satine is turned away from them with her arms crossed in a huff.

Obi-wan, with his hands raised, and Satine, pointing at something off-screen, both yell at a blood-splattered Jango. Jango is turned away from them with a huff while wiping down a bloody knife.

Satine, Obi-wan, and Jango run from a massive explosion. Satine and Jango, even with his helmet on, are visibly pissed at Obi-wan. Obi-wan is leading the group with a grimace.

A baby! 🦁🧧

Art of 4 lion dancers. In the background, from left to right, are a red lion, black lion, and white lion, all kneeling on their front paws to peer down in delight at small yellow lion in the center of their semi-circle. The little yellow lion only has it's front legs, with the back of it's costume trailing behind it, as it peers up at the adult lions.
It's a lively daytime scene. Cabbage leaves and red petals are scattered along the ground as gold confetti gently rains down around them and red streamers flutter behind them.

vela-nova 🔥🌪️ㅤ #SonicTheHedgehog | #BlazeTheCat | #SonicRush

Art of the Blaze boss fight from Sonic Rush.
We see Blaze from behind, skidding to a stop with sparks coming off her shoes as she brings her hand back and summons a flame. Sonic dashes in front of her with his fists raised and gritting his teeth. They are both backlit by the bright pillars that appear in the stage.

Welcome to the Show! 🎪 #SonicTheHedgehog | #Sonic

Sonic gives the audience a wide smile as he tips his hat. A spotlight shines directly on him as he leaps across the stage. Behind him, multiple chao fly with him as he leaps, each holding a star with streamers.
Behind Sonic is text that says "Welcome to Carnival Night Zone, Starring The Fastest Thing Alive". At the very bottom of the piece is the artist's signature, saying "Art By JasmineByTheBay".

love a man in uniform #codywan | #commandercody | #obiwankenobi

Codywan art.
Obi-wan is dressed normally in his Jedi robes. Cody, on the other hand, is in a decorated variation of the soft shell dress uniform. He has numerous silver tassels hanging from chest and shoulder, patches on his arms, and pins on his breast and collar. Red stripes run up the sides of his pants and a red trim runs around his wrist. Obi-wan's lightsaber hangs off his belt.
Cody lounges on the end of a couch with his legs casually crossed. One arm rests on the arm of the couch and holds a glass of bourbon by the rim while the other arm wraps around Obi-wan's and ends with his hand resting on Obi-wan's waist.
Obi-wan lounges next to Cody. He rests one arm on the back of couch and, like Cody, gently holds a glass of bourbon by the rim. The other arm rests on Cody's crossed leg, allowing him to lean his entire torso into Cody for a kiss.
Both of them gently smirk as they lean in for a kiss, enjoying a small moment to themselves before returning to what must be a highly formal meeting that required them both to look their best.

you know that thing where younger siblings get away with things older siblings never would've at the same age? #Cody | #Wolffe | #Fox | #tcw

"NO!!" screams a young clone cadet at Alpha-17, who looks down at the cadet with a raised eyebrow and slight sneer.

"I don't wanna train, Alpha!!" the cadet rages. "You're MEAN and UGLY and I HATE YOU!!!"

As the cadet continues to throw a tantrum at Alpha-17, we pan down to see a gray, red, and orange figure in the background of what appears to be a balcony in the Jedi temple overlooking Coruscant.

Focusing in on the three figures, we see that it's Commander Wolffe, Fox, and Cody. They are noticeably not dressed in armor or Republic blacks, but in civilian attire. Wolffe is wearing a gray athletic t-shirt, black basketball shorts, and a black compression shirt under the t-shirt. Fox is wearing a red wool coat with a white turtleneck sweater. Cody is wearing a loose cream shirt reminiscent of Jedi robes tucked into brown pants.

"Oof, poor cadet," mutter Fox. "He's about to get his ass beat." All three of them think back to an incident during their own cadet days, when a much younger (but still taller than them) cadet Alpha-17 looms over them, growling "...1010...do you want to say that to me again?"

Meanwhile, Alpha-17 sighs and acquiesces to the cadet.

"Well you can skip training today if you want," he replies, as he starts walking away. "It's too bad you'll miss out on the Jedi generals who'll be sparring at the same gym."

"WHAT??" yelps the cadet. "Wait, waaiiitt!! I didn't mean it!!"

"Oh, so you do want to train today?" Alpha-17 asks indulgently.

"Yeah!" the cadet replies!

"Good answer, cadet."

Wolffe, Fox, and Cody can only stare in indignance and rage as the little cadet gets away without even a slap on the wrist.

For the future 🌆 #SonicTheHedgehog | #SilverTheHedgehog | #ProjectSilver

Art of Silver the Hedgehog. Silver stands on the ledge of an orange sandstone cliff with a brown cloak fluttering around his shoulders. Sand and dust are kicked up by the wind, rendering everything in a reddish-orange haze that is further exacerbated by the sunset. From his place on the ledge, Silver overlooks a ruined city and what looks like an giant landmass that fell into the Earth, both haloed by the sunset.

calling out asian americans for racism on public platforms sucks because if it reaches the wrong crowd it will all too often invite racists (and even misogynists bc they go hand in hand) who completely derail the conversation or use it as an excuse to be racist towards asians

learning to draw them (and remediating my lack of formal anatomy education) #ResidentEvil | #ChrisRedfield | #LeonKennedy

A colored sketch portrait of Leon from RE9 and Chris from RE8 but their jackets are swapped. To the left of Leon is a little doodle of Leon wearing Chris's coat but the coat's size is exaggerated so the coattails are dragging on the ground and the sleeves are too long. There is a note under it commenting on Chris's coat that says the following:
"Upon inspection, Chris's coat doesn't appear to have buttons or a even a hidden zipper, which means this coat is not meant to be closed.
Chris, of all people, not only wore an expensive coat to Murder Death Cult Village in Romania, where he knew things were going to try and kill him, but he chose a coat that is almost purely fashion > function.
He either has a dry cleaner and tailor on call who aren't asking ANY questions or he has an insane amount of
money (or he decided that he has to look good in ALL situations money be damned)."
To the right of Chris is a little doodle of Chris wearing Leon's jacket but it ends only halfway down his torso and he holds his arm awkwardly to the sides. It is captioned "Can't move his arms or he'll tear the seams."
On the bottom right is a little doodle of the artist with a frustrated expression with a caption "How bright RE is" pointing to the dark colors the artist is looking at. There is another caption "How bright my colors usually are" pointing to a small doodle of Sonic the Hedgehog with shockingly vibrant colors compared to the rest of the piece. This entire doodle is captioned below as follows:
"While I was painting them, something felt off about their colors. It took me hours to realize it was because RE's color grading makes their skin tone ashier than I normally paint skin.
They need to get some sun!"

The same image as previous but Chris and Leon's coats are removed. There is an additional caption to the side that says, "Thank you RE9 shirtless Leon mod for providing crystal clear photos of Leon's chest holster"

The same image as previous but Chris and Leon are completely stripped to the show the underlying anatomy. To the left of Leon is a doodle of the artist collapsed in the Family Guy death pose and to the right of Chris is a doodle of the artist in the Shinji chair pose. Behind both doodle are various muscle anatomy diagrams.

I think we need to celebrate the death of Sora a bit more. This is a technology that, just MONTHS AGO, we were being told was going to literally destroy Hollywood and Disney was going to give them a BILLION DOLLARS and NONE OF THAT EVEN REMOTELY HAPPENED

✨ Whimsy of the Stars ✨ --- for @reach4thestarszine.bsky.social, now available for free! #SonicTheHedgehog | #Sonic

Art of Super Sonic. Sonic gently skates in a spiral across the night sky like he is dancing on water. Ripples of light and stardust follow the path of his shoes and stars sit in the water gently twinkling and illuminating the ripples of water.
