Happy Juneteenth Wisconsin! Today we celebrate the end of slavery in the United States 161 years ago, and the tireless work of so many Black Americans to fight for freedom and equality for all.

Wisconsin voters need to choose the candidate who will beat Tom Tiffany in November. I have the statewide experience of helping communities, businesses, and our neighbors. I have done this work for years and years; I am the candidate who will beat Tom Tiffany. #MissyForWI #WIGOV

Thank you to the hundreds of folks who braved the weather tonight to join the Democratic Party of Dane County gubernatorial forum! On August 11th we must put forward a nominee who can win in November and move Wisconsin forward.

This weekend in Madison I laid out my vision for the future of Wisconsin. One where you're paid what you deserve. Where every family can afford a roof over their heads. And every child has the education they need to succeed. Together we can move Wisconsin forward.

“The people of Wisconsin are desperate to see a functioning government,” Hughes said. “To see the opportunity to have a bipartisan bill fail in a very partisan way, that’s where I think a lot of Wisconsinites are just shaking their heads and saying, ‘Why can’t we get anything done in this state?’”

The fast-moving bill imploded just days after it was announced when all 15 Democrats and three Republicans in the state Senate rejected the $1.8 billion proposal.

Donald Trump has devastated Wisconsin’s farmers with reckless tariffs and a war of choice in Iran that has sent diesel prices skyrocketing. I’m proud to be in Eau Claire today to join hundreds of Wisconsinites exposing his attacks on our farmers.

Employers that look long-term think about how to take care of their employees as they grow their family or unexpectedly lose a loved one. As a state, we need to have the backs of our Wisconsin workers so they can experience these moments in life without worrying if they’ll lose their job.

Our state motto is Forward. Wisconsinites deserve a leader focused on results, not those playing political games - that’s why I’m running for Governor. Read my guest column in the @CapTimes.com about what the failed surplus deal showed us:

Opinion | Self-serving politicians undercut surplus spending deal

Wisconsinites want tax relief and money for struggling schools, but when the opportunity to provide those things arose lawmakers chose inaction.

Trump, Tom Tiffany, and RFK have slashed our healthcare to pay for tax breaks for their wealthy allies; as Governor, I will keep Wisconsinites safe from these attacks. I will also confront RFK’s anti-scientific attacks on our public health, ensuring that WI families are able to access vaccines.

It was the honor of my life to spend 17 years working to keep 1,600 dairy farmers on their land during my time at Organic Valley. Our dairy industry is the foundation of communities across Wisconsin. As Governor I’ll fight for our dairy farmers every day. #NationalDairyMonth

Happy Pride Wisconsin! As Governor I'll fight to ensure that every Wisconsinite, no matter who they love or how they identify, is free to live their lives without fear or discrimination.

Thanks to the hundreds of volunteers and thousands of Wisconsinites, today I'm submitting your signatures to get on the ballot! I’m running for Governor to move Wisconsin forward and deliver real results for Wisconsin families. I’m asking for your vote on August 11th! #MissyForWI #Wisconsin
