Disclaimer: I don’t get into the layers of unreliable narration in the text.

Someone must have already said this but… the choral notes at the beginning of “pink clouding” are the almost exactly the same as the first notes of “my tears ricochet”.
If the fill in the blank is “whore”… doesn’t it only work if she’s accused of sleeping with women? Why else would being a “whore” be the reductive of being a girls girl?

She’s so funny for naming a song with complex confusing language that needs deciphering “Babylon.”
“You never knew it was Babylon til it was gone” being the final lyric that will lead us into TS13 is so loud to me.
A line by line analysis of “Patient Zero” and “Rebecca” by Daphne Du Maurier in preparation for the music video to come. The more I listen to patient zero, the more I fall in love with this song as a Rebecca talking to the new wife in her moment of crisis.
Listening to pink clouding on repeat while enduring horrific airplane turbulence feels like an immersive gaylor experience.
THIS BRILLIANT BEING made so many Taylor connections from my dramatic retelling that I hadn’t made yet, and I am obsessed with this book. Y’all. She’s so smart and beautiful and funny and all the things a human could hope to be. We are so lucky to have her sharing her clever brain with us here!!

What a book. I’m joining in the chorus of “if you haven’t read it yet, read it!!” So engrossing. the botanical descriptions were so comedic!
