Can confirm Mitchell Robinson is heading to Boston for the full nontaxpayer MLE — Knicks woulda been in second apron at that. Now they must pivot to a cheaper backup on market or a trade to sure up depth.
Landry Shamet intends to return to the Knicks on a four-year, $24 million deal, league sources confirm to The Athletic. Shamet gets some security and rewarded for being a key part in the Knicks’ title run. I estimated Shamet would come back at 3 years, $18 million. This is the same aav.

If the Knicks are done, they've added a handful of future seconds, a good amount of cash and two players likely to play on second-round minimum deal or two-way contract as it looks to avoid second apron. Story in AM.

Played for three colleges and averaged, at least, 2.8 blocks per game in two of his college seasons. Maybe best shot blocker in draft. Assuming NY is done, I'll have a story tomorrow AM on what the draft means for the Knicks' big picture.

For now, Knicks are taking Jack Kayil at pick 39. He's 20, from Germany, played in Bundesliga.
I'm expecting New York to only make selections in slots where it can sign a player to a second-round rookie minimum (hard to do that at Pick 31) or a two-way contract. Not reporting that, just looking at the situation.

Scratch all of that — and now the Knicks move De Larrea and then Peat to pick up five second-rounders and select no player in first round, multiple sources confirm. Still have the No. 31 pick tomorrow, which I wouldn’t be surprised if they move
