Jasmine Crockett is actually playing four dimensional democratic chess. See, first she established herself in opposition to Talarico. Then she sucked up to Chris Brown, and then pissed off Brown and his fans, motivating them to vote for her enemy….. James Talarico. 🤯🤯🤯

Thinking about Sheeran’s career, I don’t know if he’s gotten involved in a controversy of this scale in his whole career. Unusual for a star of his size. Speaks to a man who’s carefully avoided taking a stand for as long as he possibly could.

I am not first and will be far from the last to say this: I have purchased so many books because I saw them recommended or publicized here on bsky. I cannot urge you all enough to KEEP TALKING ABOUT BOOKS. I know it's easier to talk up someone else's book, but this also means you, the shy author.

I have mentioned it before, so maybe, but I know others liked it too. Hooray for word of "mouth" (or post) for getting it seen.

The thing about BlueSky is, yeah, it’s a little pedantic around here, but it’s also fairly genial. There’s an etiquette. Meanwhile Zuck extracted and imported the main character and the attendant pile-on from Twitter, making addictive vicarious yelling the primary feature of the Threads experience

I have no doubt AI is going to continue to get increasingly functional in all sorts of fields but my thing is if AI is so great why do all the pro-AI posts suck so much? Why hasnt it helped with that? Like it’s going to write our novels and direct our movies but it can’t make a post? Fuck outta here

I do think, however, Kansas wouldn’t go as hard on the John Brown stuff if Mizzou fans hadn’t spent years posting this kind of stuff. To paraphrase Don Fambrough: It’s a damn war and they started it.
