Fans are speculating that the Skydance merger (as Paramount’s content is very notorious of getting leaked) was the cause.
If you think something is funny because it’s being pointed out in a self aware way, imagine how much more the joke works if it’s just taken as a given. Imagine how many times you can hit that button. It doesn’t stop being funny or interesting, because that’s just a part of the world.
