The fact that Lichtenstein couldn't be bothered to learn how to cartoon properly while never paying a cartoonist a cent for ripping off their work really makes me mad. Anyone could paint or draw circles around this asshole.

Boy we lost something really special when we started pushing hard for 3D. Some of the character models were rough.
I've been contemplating if my art would be more successful if I stopped fan art for the most part, but the idea of not depending on fan art worries me. Should I take the plunge and offer more original ideas? Is my art strong enough?
For fun, my style for cartoony humans is inspired by Hanna Barbera and older anime and I hope you can see that vision in the work I do. If the humans look too anime, I think it would look jarring with the cartoon animals I draw.
