Panel 2: Francie walks in looking taller too. Peter says, "Looks like you're not the only one." Francie says, "What up, shrimps?"

Panel 3: Belanie asks Peter, "When are we going to grow, Peter?" Peter says, "I think it's up to Dad." Patty pats Peter on the head, "Everyone grows at different times."

Panel 4: Cat and Tam, the conjoined twins walk in to the unsetttled surprise of Patty, Peter, and Belanie. Tam is taller than Cat, so she's dragging Cat along behind her, which she doesn't look too happy about. Tam says, "I'm tall!" Cat grumbles, "This stinks."

My contribution to #AugustAdventures2026week2 is a fake book cover for a biography about Charles Darwin's daughter, #HenriettaDarwin. I was inspired to draw this after reading a recent article about her interest in foraging for phallic-shaped mushrooms. #AugustAdventures #AugustAdventures2026

WOW! This graphic novel was amazing!
Absolutely LOVED the art, this was so well done! It pulled you through the book and exploded with emotion and energy. The story, how cool! Loved the process pages at the end too, so cool. Highly recommend this graphic novel.

The Many Misfortunes of Eugenia Wang is great! I loved watching Eugenia navigate school, and first crushes and friendships all while being haunted by visions of the future -- you know, stuff all kids go through. It's just that there may be more to Eugenia's visions than there is for most kids... Loved this book!

Panel 1: Peter and Patty Cadaver wait for the school bus. Terry the Tapeworm is sticking out of Patty's face as she pets him. Peter asks Patty "You're taking him to school with you?" Patty replies, "How else is he going to get lunch in the middle of the day?" Terry adds, "Having a pet IS a big responsibility."

Panel 2: Peter asks Patty, "Won't you be embarrassed if someone sees him?" Terry looks indignant, "Why would ANYONE be embarrassed by ME?" Peter responds, "Because parasites are gross."

Panel 3: Close up on Terry the Tapeworm who happily explains, "GROSS? I'm amazing! Did you know I can have babies all on my own by laying eggs that my host will poop out?"
