Had this one planned from the beginning but only got to it in the last week, but decided to do a silly couples (although the background ones are a little doomed) thingy with swan boats of mutuals' OCs (character credits in replies)

(shockingly, had no space or time for text/character labelling, but the original description has the character name order from left to right) Cel-shaded drawing of three couples in swan boats on a lake in a stylized-down park. The couple on the left are looking at the middle couple, the left being a half-orc and the right an elf. Both of their gear (a deep black axe with red accents and silver staff with a triangular gemstone at the tip) rest against the neck of the swan boat. The half orc has a mohawk-like shaved-side haircut with black armor underneath a red cape with white markings on the outside. The elf has a lavender cloak with a golden collar. The middle couple is a human-size anthro cat hugging a very large black and white dragon with yellow toenales and stripes down his tail and arm. The boat is mostly under water, with only the head and half the neck sticking out as the large dragon has sunk it. The cat is mocha colored with darked paws and lighter on the face and under the tail with white hair on his head. He is wearing jeans, a brown coat, and round glasses as he hugs the neck of his very large partner. The dragon is slightly slouched as he is embarrassed for what he did. The dragon is nude (null) with spiky white hair. The third couple are octolings, with the left one based on a blue ringed octopus and the right being pink with long tentacles. The left one is standing up and squinting at them, raising purple glasses to get a clearer look. He is wearing a dark blue coat and pants with lavender-blue "fur" lined jacket and boots. The right one has a pink collared shirt and black apron with work belt. He also has a metal-purple coiling prosthetic that represents a tentacle.

Love this from #FlySchool2026 student @toldentops.bsky.social! 🥰 #Lauxaniidae is one of the most diverse acalyptrate #fly families. Larvae are associated w/leaf litter, thus super abundant/diverse in forests. They are HIGHLY variable so every time a student finds one they think it's a new family 😂
