Best case scenario, I guess the judge will call it a frivolous lawsuit and order the plaintiff to pay The Grind's expenses, but for now this looks like an example of lawfare as an existential threat to indie media.

Tristin Hopper wrote that Prof. Houlahan had "spent weeks... ignoring an eviction order to maintain a 'Free Gaza' encampment on university property." In fact there was no "eviction order" - campus security had issued a trespass notice, which the faculty union successfully grieved.
