industry awards are a net good for the material difference they make in artists’ lives—especially in a culture that doesn’t value creative labor nearly enough—but the persistent voting and logistical issues the ennies face (or invite) each year necessitate change beyond adding or editing categories
The main disappointment in ALOM not winning an ENNIE is not getting to read the mpreg joke @vidityavoleti.bsky.social put in his speech
