Didn’t see this coming. Another Senate race to watch closely. Lindsey Graham spent years acting like South Carolina belonged to him. The voters might have other plans. Dr. Annie Andrews is at 45%, and among informed voters, she leads Graham 46% to 43%.

Had a really fun time yesterday teaching a mixed group of kids and adults about the solstice! It’s been a while since I taught this lesson, but it’s always fun and interesting! Then we chatted about my campaign of course!

Today is my Diaversary! In case you aren't sure what that means, it's Diabetic jargon for surviving another year with this tricky, mostly invisible disease! And I haven't just survived one year as a Diabetic, this year marks surviving 39 years as a Type 1, insulin -dependent Diabetic!

Happy New Year's Eve! We have only 14 and a half hours left to fundraise before the deadline for my first real campaign report! This report is critical as I have a primary challenger and this will show that I have been able to gather significant support early on.
I made the choice to run for office because I need someone who follows through on their promises to our district. Promises to protect public education, to protect kids in schools from gun violence, and to make healthcare more affordable and accessible.
