Ossoff: "Each day his allies are fewer & even they no longer deny his corruption, the obscene self-dealing while he plunges nation deeper into reckless war while he rakes in billions & builds himself ballroom & prepares again to attack elections. Let's be clear, one man attempted fraud in GA: Trump"

Here we are in 2026 and this song is just as relevant now as it was when it was created. ‘Stop, Hey What's That Sound’ Buffalo Springfield Released December, 1966

A bicentennial song went “we must be doing something right to last 200 years”. Ford had pardoned Nixon declaring our long national nightmare over. At 250, we are challenged by a corrupt, divisive president. I flew our flag today as a sign of hope in the American dream of truth and justice for all.

“…if markets stumble it creates a much more dramatic impact on the economy than we would have seen before. I refer to it as a Jenga tower that’s top-heavy. The popularizer of the K-shaped economy: ‘The rich are living a golden age under Trump’

Putin forgot to ask Ukrainians for permission to hold the 2026 St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, and the event opened not with investment news, but with smoke rising above an oil terminal. A few hours before the opening, Ukrainian drones struck an oil export terminal in St. Petersburg⤵️

The burning oil terminal at the background for the attendees of the Saint Petersburg International economic forum (SPIEF) is quite a fitting picture of current state of Russia.

2/ Russia expected the eyes of (part of) the world to be on St Petersburg today. It's the start of #SPIEF2026 But instead of chatting about Russia's premier Economic Forum, there's just one story in town, with luminaries from Africa and Afghanistan wondering if it's safer at home!
