i think one big factor (among many) as to why AI has had such a foothold in coding spaces is because the majority of people dont consider programming to be art

LRT but the loss of trust in artists because of AI everywhere now saddens me so much. I used to admire so much all types of art but now I have to wonder "is this AI?" and it's really damaging to think like this. This and everyday stuff like the news, internet in general, nothing feels real.
