You know, I bet there's exactly one lifelong Peter Lorre x Granny shipper out there who's having a field day with 'Coyote vs. Acme'

look its simple: if roger rabbit is exonerated the toons gain control of the acme corporation leading to "coyote vs acme". if roger rabbit is convicted, humans retain control as seen in "looney tunes: back in action". if marvin acme is never killed then chip and dale rescue rangers (2022) happens

Stories that focus on subverting tropes mostly make me feel like the writers probably just don’t have anything interesting to say about anything real. Anyone can take familiar story elements and slightly modify them or play them for a different tone. Telling personal stories takes more skill.

Looks like ‘Wildwood’ isn’t going to hold back. Laika movies never make too much money anyway, so they may as well go for it and see what happens, I guess.

Found it amusing since I've designed and recreated so many billboards specifically to litter my future ytps with, but didn't think it'd really work if I were to recreate this one too. so I shared it with @naveryw.bsky.social, and he immediately responded with: "Proud owner of Restaurant, Ratatang!"

Idea for an isekai based on Pixar’s ‘Cars’: Main character guy gets hit by Truck-kun and is reincarnated as a car in the world of Pixar’s ’Cars’, in which Truck-kun is sentient. Main character kills Truck-kun in an act of revenge. Truck-kun is reincarnated as a human in main character’s world.

Oh, you’re thinking of a trip to Disneyland, huh? Name the Nine Old Men in twenty seconds or you’re a FAKE DISNEY ADULT and may as well just go to Knott’s Berry Farm.

I cannot stress enough: the AI bubble has already popped it is just being kept on life support by corporations trying to squeeze even a dollar more out of their shit investment, and tech bros doing the same before abandoning their shit company startups. keep hating on AI, you're winning

Tony Jay's portrayal of Claude Frollo owes more to George Sanders' portrayal of Brian de Bois-Guilbert in 'Ivanhoe' than any portrayal of Frollo in previous adaptations of 'Hunchback of Notre Dame', doesn't it?
