I know I don't comment much on people's art, but it's really nice to see so many people still drawing 20 years after I first saw their work, especially as a hobby. It feels really nostalgic to me and I appreciate that they (/y'all? some of you are mutuals 🩵) still find time and energy to art.

I was never a country music fan, but I appreciated Dolly Parton. Last year we were worried she would kick the bucket while we were in Dollywood. I'm sad that such a fantastic human didn't make it much longer :( She was a light of a person; we're all a little darker and a little colder without her.

Today I am making an effort to celebrate myself, by showing myself a little self love. Give myself some comfort food and celebrate with the gang.

Our Gen Con game haul, including some free games! Dino Racer @lateralthefloof.bsky.social won a copy by picking the winning dino. 9 Lives we pulled out of a giant stuffed cat's butt (nothing usual where Exploding Kittens/The Oatmeal games are concerned).

I have a specialty license plate that has gotten two comments in a month, one of them last night at work... When a coworker (from a different area) passed me in the hall and said "Hey, it's dragon girl!" They have no clue 😏

I watched the first episode of The Cat and the Dragon and had to try my hand at Uncle Wing.

Oh, Poly Pride BTW. I know there are some people who think it's weird to have Pride in this, but frankly? Poly people of all stripes get shit on by society too often for having unconventional relationships and I think that sucks.

Finally got @lateralthefloof.bsky.social a portable air conditioner as a big birthday gift. @meadbreath.bsky.social and I helped with delivery and set up, just in time for the heat wave this week. As soon as it started pumping cold air, Lateral stuck his face in it. He's very happy.

Last night was the first time I've watched Airplane. It was a lot better than I was expecting... and a lot of adult jokes (and partial nudity!) for only being PG. I understand a lot more references now 😅

Lateral, Mead, and I did a local glass blowing thing as an early birthday present for my mom and it was a lot of fun. All we did was pick the colors, pick the shape, and blow while the artisan did all the hard work x3 Bet it's easy to tell which glass is mine :D
