I don't know that any lessons will be taken from this. From Riot's perspective and many takes on the game, 2XKO "did everything right," it was F2P, it removed motion inputs, it had good online, it allowed you to play in a team and get carried, it did everything people said FG's had to do.

Okay I know were big divided on how speed cameras are bad and that you should design infrastructure that stops being car centric instead. But, we can all agree that ring cameras are only used for evil right? We know cops use them for evil and people use them to stalk neighbors at work right.

Not gonna poke the nest but it's pretty easy to point out that the solution isn't a million fines with cameras to stop speeding it's infrastructure that prevents it from happening to begin with. You can fix the harm from vehicles and not just punish poor people at the same time.
My HR training in the hospital had a multiple choice answer and one of them was basically "trans women are actually men and they can't ever change that" 14% of people had clicked that one. Though like 20% had clicked the homophobia is justified button on a different answer.
