It is shocking that Chris Wormald has been given a peerage. Wormald was singled out by the Covid Inquiry for having 'obscured reality' during the pandemic. He was at the heart of the failures that cost the lives of our loved ones. Why has he been rewarded for that failure?

This is the man who "obscured reality", when the reality is people died because of Tory failures, my Dad being one of them. And now he's been rewarded for that. To say I'm not happy is the understatement of the year!

My Dad was a London bus driver who contracted Covid and died, because he had no PPE or modifications on his bus. So it breaks my heart to have it confirmed that £10bn was wasted on PPE that was not fit for purpose. How many deaths could have been avoided had the Conservatives used proper channels.

Today I am back in London for the Covid Inquiry as the report on Procurement will be published. Unfortunately some of the report will remain secret while we all wait for the NCA to complete its (6 year?) investigation into Medpro. A reminder of some of the key points:

The Hillsborough Law is finally set to be approved by MPs. A big step towards creating a fairer society where the scales of justice are more evenly balanced. What an incredible legacy for the Hillsborough Families and all those who have campaigned to reach this moment.
