Latest commission has been received so I can post it now. Flying With The Wind, acrylic on panel. A delight to work on, this was commissioned as a birthday gift for a dear friend.

Painting of a two-masted schooner sailing quickly in a choppy sea. She has gannet wings for sails. Based on a wonderful sailing trip with the recipient and on my brother’s explanations about how the sails of his boat act as airfoils

Continued... #AkiArts #fanart #HollowKnight #Silksong #comic

A digital fan comic by Clockwork Banana depicting the events after Hollow Knight: Silksong. It is titled 'Treemom':

Panel one shows a view of the White Lady from Hollow Knight beaming brightly down at us, the viewer. "Dearest Gendered Child," She says, her word bubbles fancy and floral. "To what do I owe this pleasure?"

Panel two shows the side of the White Lady's face as she looks down upon Hornet and Lace. Hornet looks unphased but Lace is clinging to Hornet's arm. "This is a social call if you can believe it, My Lady." Hornet says. "Introductions have been overdue." Delighted the White Lady responds, "oh my!"

Panel three shows a stunned Lace and an unbothered Hornet staring up. "This is my companion, Lace. She..." Hornet is interrupted by a tugging on her sleeve. "Ah, pardon us..."

Panel four is Lace turning to whisper at Hornet, looking concerned. "Spider," She hisses. "What's wrong" Hornet responds. "You... your Mother is a tree?" Lace gawks. "She did not birth me, but, yes?" Hornet responds further. "...oh. You're sure?" Lace asks. "I am sure," Hornet says flatly. "It'd explain so many things about you," Lace finishes, still whispering.

Panel five shows Hornet squinting and looking very confused. "What" she says blankly, "does that mean". Overhead, the White Lady lets out a laugh.

White Lady (and elder Dung Defender / Potted Isma) appreciation post :) #AkiArts #fanart #HollowKnight #Silksong #sketchdump

A digital sketchdump by Clockwork Banana featuring Fanart doodles of a variety of Hollow Knight/Silksong characters, most prominently the first game's White Lady. She is a towering glowing monarch resembling a tree with curling white branches and big bright blue eyes. She has roots for arms and legs as well. She is drawn wearing a muted blue robe and a gray undergarment in each doodle.

In my head, the White Lady has finally moved on from her guilt and grief in the first game. She's been 'freed' from her binds (in a comic I intend to draw eventually) and tends to the ruins and gardens. Her lands are peaceful but largely unknown to the wider world. What was Hallownest is no more. The White Lady in Clockwork Banana's head has happy divorced wife vibes.

The Dung Defender is also still around?! But he's really old and missing his left horn. He has a big dopey Elderbug level grin. He carries around a clipping of Isma, her leaves mottled but thriving.

The White Lady has mended some of the relationships her late partner (the Pale King) fucked up before the Infection. The beings of the world survive as they always do, even in trying times.

I love women getting out of toxic relationships and living their best life after they are given the space and time to heal. Here is a comic with Hornet introducing her girlfriend to her bonus mom. I'm sure most Pale Beings last a long time if some other PB doesn't kill them first ;w;

There is a short comic in the top left of the image:
The White Lady leans down, adoringly tilting Hornet's chin up to look at her. "My dear girl!" She says. "You are awfully joyous today," Hornet replies. "Now that I see YOU I am!" The White Lady exclaims as they bump foreheads affectionately. She turns to Lace, asking "Oh? Who is this?" But Lace has never seen another Pale Being that wasn't her mum and is frozen solid. "What is YOUR name, little one?" The Lady asks, but Lace is too shy to answer.

I imagine Hornet has a dark sense of humor and is bad at flirting 😂😭and she is so real for that. #AkiArts #HollowKnight #Silksong #comic #Lacenet

A digital comic by Clockwork Banana depicting the events after Act 3 of Hollow Knight: Silksong:

Panel one shows Lace and Hornet sitting facing one another. "Are you certain you are comfortable with this?" Hornet asks. Lace responds plainly with "No."

Panel two shows Lace looking nervous and annoyed. "But I cannot recall the last time I let it down. And then you asked about it... So-"

Panel three has Lace unclasping the golden clips at the ends of her 'hair'. "Do not laugh" she warns. We see her sliding the claws off her head.

Panel four shows Lace but with long waist-length hair like Grand Mother Silk. "There. See?" She says. "It MUST remain up... I look far too much like my Mother otherwise."

A digital comic by Clockwork Banana depicting the events after Act 3 of Hollow Knight: Silksong:

Panel one shows Hornet staring at Lace with her hair down, looking flustered.

Panel two has Hornet giving Lace a thumbs up and saying "It's not a bad thing."

Panel three Lace reaches up and brushes her hair away from her face. "Uh, what's THAT supposed to mean?" She demands.

Panel four has Hornet resting her hand over her heart and closing her eyes, still blushing as she says "Your Late Mother was -very- attractive." Lace screams "SPIDER?!" at her.

A digital comic by Clockwork Banana depicting the events after Act 3 of Hollow Knight: Silksong:

A single panel showing Lace with her arms crossed over her chest and her hair pulled back up into a bonnet. Her back is facing us (and Hornet) as she stands and broods. A note says she is mad and Ignoring Hornet.

Hornet also has her back to us but is pleading with Lace to forgive her: "Aww, c'mon. It was merely jest. Lace? I was being facetious, I'm sorry. Lace Please."

More Shakretta slop <3

Shakra stands scouting as Bretta clings to her leg. She feigns ignorance to the smaller bug's whereabouts.
Shakra: "Where could my mate possibly be? Hm..."
Bretta: "Right here! Right here!"
Shakra: "There are voices on the wind today it seems. Weight too."
