Today saw the first of our creative workshops, ahead of our @glasgow2026.bsky.social event, Party & Picnic Great to see so many colourful and creative ideas inspired by the Castle and community pride taking shape. The next workshop is 📅 13th July ⏰️ 11am - 1pm 📍 Pollok Library

Written #OnThisDay 82 years ago the U.S. Army District Engineer reveals an extraordinary moment in the history of the Castle during #worldwar2. During the war the Crookston was home to UK, US & Polish forces, including a large military field hospital & ordenance store.

It #SeachdainNaGàidhlig World Gaelic Week. Gaelic shapes the landscape around Crookston Castle and is a living language across our communities, were proud to join in the celebrations this week.

Happy #ValentinesDay What do you love about Crookston Castle? Is it the history, the view from the top? Childhood memories of visiting? A peaceful place to walk, or a favourite photo spot? Whatever it is, we’d love to hear it.

A huge thank you to the 11 volunteers who came along to our litter pick, helping clear the hillside, Castle path, neighbouring streets, and the grass verges along Brockburn Road. Days like this really help keep the area looking its best for everyone who lives nearby and those who comes to visit.

Litter Pick at Crookston Castle Join us tomorrow (Sunday) at 11:30am for our first litter pick of the year. It’s a great way to help care for Glasgow’s last castle and make a difference for the community. We’ll be offering a free tour of the Castle at the end!
