Just finished this drawing of @bigjohnatx90.bsky.social
Matthew Conway
@mattconwayart.bsky.social
back in Austin, TX artist who draws and paints men.
Working in oils, colored pencil, or pastels, Conway works from live models or personally shot photos often using friends, acquaintances, or strangers as models. His figures are sometimes playful, sometimes tender, reflecting Conway’s own attraction to the men he paints. @mattconwayart.bsky.social
MATTHEW CONWAY is a multi-media figurative painter whose work focuses on the male body, masculinity, and queer desire. Born and based in Texas, he is part of a younger generation of artists re-examining the male nude through a contemporary queer perspective. #gay #art #lgbtq #nude #nudist #male #men
