we are a duo of geneticists with a love of all things science-y and fossil-y, if you visited our stall last year we now have new t-shirt designs, new planters designs, and even coasters! #FossilFriday #SciArt #DinoCon

AI generated cover, probably all 56 figures inside as well, with absolutely no genAI use disclosure on the main page. Not to mention if AI was used for the cover, who is to guarantee that the text wasn't AI generated as well? Did a human check the text or references for hallucination? Very sloppy...

I think this is another sign of the huge disconnect between scientists and the public. If you are willing to use known plagiarism machines to write a paper, THEN NOT EVEN DISCLOSE IT, how is the public supposed to trust you haven't plagiarised or straight up "made up" your data and results?
