The new tech startup designed its platform around the belief that social data, such as age, education, and income demographics is more influential to prospective homebuyers than the layout or physical conditions of a home.

It's frustrating because this stuff is delivered with such absolute certainty and for many of the podcast's numerous listeners it will be the definitive take on an important topic. But when you dig in, the ideas are confusing and contradictory.

An OCJN member from South Asia recently told me their outlet's attention is split between political turmoil and extreme weather. Rain and elections. Cyclones and budgets. The question of our time for media outlet will be how to *effectively* cover both climate breakdown and political unraveling.
