A Trump official diverted firefighting resources to a fire on his private ranch. He got 9 aircraft for the 7-acre fire while the 90,000 acre Grasshopper fire in Oregon got about the same. These guys kneecapped wildfire prevention and now they’re diverting what few resources remain for personal gain.

This girl I used to waitress with in Austin, we moved to New York together in 2003 on a literal Greyhound bus. Shared a fifth floor walk-up studio that, when it rained, had more leaks in the ceiling than we had pots and pans. We used to get drunk and smoke off the fire escape and do “sad-offs.”

The universe taking THAT beloved, philanthropic, talented, blonde octogenarian, and leaving the the other one who is none of those things, feels about right.
