my rent is also 3 days overdue and idk if i should pay the rent with the money i’ve received so far or if i should hold out a little and see if i can get enough to schedule the scan first i feel so bad about not paying the rent because the stress is on my roommate who has been really good to me

What comes over, for me, in Wilson's writing about The Odyssey is the kind of passion and fascination for a subject that comes from dedicating your life to studying it and that is inherently more interesting than anything anybody who wants to treat Nolan as a sacred cow has to say.
