What grants are available right now? Grants are offered as we receive funding, please check back often for details. The current grant disbursement ending on Aug 8th gives out 4 $250 Storm Crow grants. Who are these grants available to? Grants are offered to those marginalized on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation and/or disability who are 18 years of age or older. You do not need to be based in the US, although there may be additional tax reporting requirements for those outside the US.How are grant recipients chosen? Grants are chosen via a random lottery, all applicants have an equal chance to receive the funds. There is no merit basis or essay question for the Storm Crow grants. What is the grant money for? Grants are for making networking opportunities in the MTG space more accessible to marginalized members of our community. We hope the funds are used to support your professional development or Magic organizing! Our grants are not intended for everyday spending like groceries or rent assistance.

These grants make valuable networking opportunities more accessible. What are they for? We encourage applications from those marginalized on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation and/or disability who are 18 years of age or older. Grant Details: We currently have funding to provide four $250 Storm Crow grants. Mission: The purpose of this grant is to fund a project that will make a positive impact on our communities through player engagement and/or charity. Total funding available is $500. Requirements: While there is no matching requirement for awardees, we do request that you complete a formal grant proposal that describes your project, desired outcomes, total budget, and how award funding will be utilized. Awardees must utilize all funds within one-year of their award date and provide a brief report after project completion. What qualifies: Projects that are intended to drive community engagement or charitable giving. You may use the funds to support project costs including, but not limited to, supply costs, costs of prize support, travel costs, and/or the costs of services. Timeline: The application window is officially open now through July 31, 2026 at 11:59pm. The selection committee will review applications after the window is officially closed, and funding decisions will be made and communicated by August 31, 2026 at 11:59pm.
