I teach science and run a game club at a public high school, showing each generation how to play and be a better community member. he/him

This will always be one of my favorite removal spells. Not because it’s efficient or anything like that, but just because the Aven in the art looks *so over it*

The Magic: the Gathering card Ghastly Demise

Vintage Magic the Gathering art! What a surprise to learn that an unpublished oldie for Magic finally gets a release! There are a couple more in their archive that have yet to see the light of day, so you never know.🤞

You make a video saying that Homarids are in danger of type-errata unless they gain a unique mechanical identity. Specifically you prescribe caring about Tide counters. 2 years later Mystery Booster Commander prints Rikala Homarid King, a legend which cares about Tide counters! It's a lobster...

Spice in its video Saving Magic's Endangered Creature Types. It's standing beside a custom card depicting:

Homarid Bastard [1UU]
Creature - Homarid Warrior
At the beginning of your end step add or remove a tide counter from Homarid Bastard.
So long as Homarid Bastard has 1 or fewer tide counters on it, it has hexproof and doesn't untap during your untap step. Otherwise you mill 2 cards for each tide counter on Homarid Bastard. (There should be an trigger on your untap step or something for that last ability)A picture shared by mtg_tarzan of:

Legendary Creature - Lobster Noble
At the begining of your upkeep, put a tide counter on Rikala. Then if there are four or more tide counters on Rikala, remove them.
Creatures you control get +1/+0 for each tide counter on Rikala.
Whenever you tap an island for mana, if there are three or more tide counters on Rikala, add an additional U.

My Bracket 1 Knights of the Color Wheel deck just might be my favorite Commander deck of all time. ☺️ Piloting a weird brew of pet cards is what I truly love in Commander. Winning is less important. And it’s occasional win sure hits different. 😝

I just got in my application for this grant! I asked for Jumpstart and Commander to fuel the Magic at my game club, and possibly wrote way too much describing all that the club does and means to its members. 👨‍🏫 I’m just looking forward to seeing whatever cool project gets this incredible support. 🫶

If I were to introduce someone to Star Trek, I’d show them “The Offspring” which showcases how challengingly philosophical, profoundly emotional, superbly written, and consistently more progressive than the time it was made the franchise is. 🖖 I also love the card Solemn Simulacrum immensely. 1/🧵
