I can’t believe we’re back to medieval level conflicts like “local merchant princes attempt to bribe theologians and the Pope’s advisors so the Pope will issue a favorable proclaimation”

Are you really into horribly traumatic movies where tragedy befalls a family and you want to think of them while getting hammered? Good news

I'm also confused as to why the AI Bro is so pissed with the Pope saying AI isn't sentient. Does he want the AI to become Catholic? How are we giving the data centers First Communion? Are the copious amounts of water we'd use to cool the servers for its baptism?

Pope calls for the Butlerian Jihad, got it

Tweet from the official account for the Pope: In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

It's October. It's time for me to say that, by casting Jodelle Ferland, who played Alessa in the Silent Hill movie, as Aggie's voice in Paranorman, there's a connection of innocent girls tortured into being furious witches at work there. And I always appreciated it, intentional or not.

Night. The House of Chimes - a tower which you might immediately think of as Big Ben - is adrift in the River Thames. It still seems to be keeping time. In the background, a large, alien building looms over the city of London.

How many creatures does one want for a monster collection for 5e anyway? Apparently the '14 MM had 350, and the 24 has more, but that's a ton.

David, the Table Top (they/them)@theinkedknight.bsky.social · last wk.

It's okay, as a designer, to make your 5e whatever game, actually. Maybe your take will be cool and innovative, but more importantly, that's where a lot of money is, and making art to pay your bills is as important as doing it for arts sake.

Creatures who fail this save by 5 or more are stunned instead of blinded. This action automatically recharges if the hulk is subjected to radiant damage$

#dnd concept: a hulk (word I'm using to replace golem) made of diamond. Immune to nonmagical nonadamantine weapon damage, when hit with radiant damage the light refracts, hitting everything in a radius around it instead, when is destroyed, it's literally diamonds enjoy the wealth
