I know in the current state of games journalism this is pretty much shouting into the void but... If any gaming publication is looking for an extra pair of hands writing features/news (maybe even reviews) - I'd love to hear about it! 🙏

Might finally finish Big Walk tonight! (🤞 this happens and adult life won't interfere)
Does consuming pesto daily count as "eating your greens"? Serious question, folks 🥬
Everyone, time to give back some love and support to every game journo's fav publication ✊
Im sorry to be a bummer on the tl, but the idea of losing Stop Caring is really painful. I am very proud of the small space I've carved for myself and others, the ways readers have received our pieces, and all the lovely people I've met. It would be a shame to lose it all.
Completely forgot about that very fun Big Walk playtest session with @mostlyalright.com we did for @debugmag.com! (before the game was even out, imagine) Just look at this lovely spread. Anyway, a good reminder to finish Big Walk (only one tower left) -- go support indie mags, folks

Just learned about this living Big Walk legend during my last session with random folks who played a session with John Bigwalk and I was like, 'This is AMAZING'. And then I read this. As I said before, GOTY 2026
I spent seven hours yesterday trying to chase down a guy going by the name of John Bigwalk, Big Walk's own mischievous, merry wanderer who has a "golden radio voice" and is making community-led public lobbies a lot more interesting.
Kinda sad to admit the only game you honestly been excited for this year, you don't have friends to finish it with... *sheds a tear* Anyhoo - if anyone's looking for Big Walk co-op buddy or another member to join your group, I'm all ears! (if it's important, I only did one of the towers)
Am I the only one who misses Jim Guthrie's tunes in their games? (just listened to Nobody Saves the World soundtrack and MY GOD it slaps)
I dont get why more people don't talk how good 'Shiva Baby' is (rewatch it religiously every year - it only seems to be getting better somehow?)
Alright y'all today is the day! It's the Unemployment Day 500 Subathon, brought to you by [insert motorsport sponsor here]! Starting in just a few minutes, I will be live ALL DAY on Twitch playing a variety of games, talking to a bunch of cool folks, and havin' a good time! Come hang:

As a games journalist, I try to avoid saying “this game looks like this game plus this game” because it feels dismissive and kind of mean but holy shit I need some studios to start making games that don’t look like “this game plus this game”
I might just finish Death Stranding if it's recreated in Big Walk (devs, do you hear my wallet opening up for you)
big walk death stranding
Planned to do so much in today's session (always a mistake), goofed around & got ourselves a backpack and waistbag instead... oh, and did that one labyrinth puzzle too
"And honestly, I was in the same position: I don't have a regular gaming group, as silly as that sounds, given the job I do." You have no idea how much I related to this - having played Big Walk twice, with friends who don't share the same enthusiasm for it, I might just as well need to do this

In the middle of the South Atlantic Ocean, there is an island. It's 1,700 miles from the nearest major city. The population is 220 people. There's one Steam account. @jamiehore.bsky.social set himself the ridiculous task of finding the most remote gamer in the world. This is their story:

This little puzzle (?) is so brilliant that during our second day of Big Walk when we were collecting gourds we secured last session, my friend who was always saying "this game needs some zombies" wanted to do the 5-minute challenge again - just for fun I predict another GOTY for @househouse.com

In just six days, over one million of you have bought Big Walk, our co-op adventure all about talking and walking. We are so grateful that so many of you are spending time with our game. And we deeply appreciate your fanart, your streams, your stories, and your moments. Thank you for playing.
