In NYC for NYCC, AND it's our anniversary so we went to get some of our favorite food that we haven't had for AGES - Ethiopian! It was so good! #NYCC
The “um, ackshully” takes I’ve been hearing across the internet since the end of Lanterns has been mind boggling. It’s almost as if people don’t understand story structure and character motivations.
Finally finished my first batch of mystery sketch requests for @cartoonart.bsky.social ! Apparently, if you give me my choice of Legion of Superheroes character, you get classic Triplicate Girl.
So WHY was Lanterns so good? It took an over the top SciFi/Comic concept and grounded it into a character play in the midwest. Sure, there was some space stuff, but not much in the way of costumes because THEY DON'T MATTER IT'S ALL ABOUT THE CHARACTERS & RELATIONSHIPS. And they NAILED that MFer.
Matthew, it was our absolute pleasure to have you on the podcast! (not to be confused with the Absolute Universe, of course!). Looking forward to the next time we get to chat!!

It’s October, so retrieve your comics from the attic and blast some spooky music for the #HalloweenDanceParty! Day 1: Cat Women or Femme Fatales Glorith from the Legion of Super-Heroes seems to tick the femme fatale boxes. 😀 #comics #comicsky
regret is *almost* an anagram for great. Which is kind of apt.
