I just had a student go "I'm not coming to your zoom office hours to get help with the thing that's due tonight because I'm a visual learner" and I'm left scratching my head. Did they assume I wouldn't be able to draw diagrams and play videos online? I wish the "visual learner" myth would just die

I've been thinking a lot lately about the trans woman that came into my life at the exact right time and let me know that it's possible to live a fulfilling life as a trans latina. I lost contact with her a bit ago and it makes me sad when i think about how i have no idea where she's even at anymore
