Happy Chinese New Years! I don't always read as "asian" and there's always a poke of imposter syndrome with Chinese culture for me -as if being half means I get less access to connect with this part of me or that I need permission. But it's not needed and I welcome everyone to celebrate with me!

"Don’t the great tales ever end?” The war is over. The fellowship stands victorious. All there is left to tell is the ending of their tale... The final chapter of The Fourth Age, our three season ode to the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, airs on Tuesday 13th January, 12:30pm Pacific.

Six individuals stood together, looking out towards the skies as pink blossom floats about them: - Iairen. A human with handsome, dark features, his face framed with long brown hair with a soft kink to it, wearing a dark blue robe. - Chicory Taproot. A Hobbit with delicate, pale features, and wavy brown hair, wearing a flowing purple dress, with white frills and an apron. - Theodas. A muscular Elf with strong dark features, framed by a thick, greying beard, wearing a grey cloak over a dull golden chestpiece. - Mistiel. An Elf with beautiful dark features and long white braids, wearing a hooded auburn cloak over dark leather armour. - Eona. A woman with tanned features and long black hair, intertwined with golden scales, wearing heavy brown leather armour and a single steel pauldron with fur lining. - Aerlind. A tall and handsome Elf with deep black, straight hair and elven robes in shades of sea blues and greens. In his hand he carries a golden astrolabe. Above them are the words "The Fourth Age: Book Three" and below them "Chapter Ten: The White Ships."

Our final season is coming to an end, and the last great battle of The Fourth Age is about to begin... - Chapter 7 (Dec 2nd) - Chapter 8 (Dec 5th) Tune in for this two-parter at 12:30pm PST, as the Fellowship fights for the fate Annúminas, and for the future of Middle-earth itself...

I watched her fur begin to fade to white, all her toys earn holes and tears, held her tightly as we drove with the windows down. Bunny, I'll see you one day across that rainbow bridge but today is just painful. You are missed immensely. And I will love you always.

As we approach our final season, I will have plenty to say about our cast. And first up is Bec. What @causticphoenix.bsky.social has built with Eona is extraordinary; a uniquely human tale in Tolkien's Middle-earth. When Bec sent me her backstory, I wept. By tale's end, I've no doubt I will again.

The road goes ever on. And it is coming to an end... Eona (@causticphoenix.bsky.social) is far from home. And as the forces of The Dark Tree spread westwards, all she holds dear stands on a precipice. Side by side with friends and old foes alike, can she triumph? Or will she lose everything...?
