We're proud of Team Metro for stepping in without hesitation to help clear 46 DASH bus stops impacted by snow & ice. Partnerships like this keep our region strong! 🤝

For the first time in years, we have made the difficult decision to cancel all service for Monday, January 26 due to extreme icy conditions. With safety as our top priority, we determined that operating service would put our riders, staff, and community at unnecessary risk. @nbcwashington.com

I’m bad at taking action photos, and even worse at posting updates but I’m so proud of the @dashbusva.bsky.social team for todays work. We ran service despite the challenges (yes, I helped free a stuck bus and no they wouldn’t let me drive 😆) Hop on for a ride home after you finish sledding! ❄️🚍☃️

In October DASH had a monthly ridership of 546,464 - the first time in the history of the system we did over 500,000 in a single month. Huge success, and more to come!
