I read & wrote a Reader's Report on a MS for a Press - 🙏 I think its a gd 📖 - it was >3 days work & will be paid £150 (-tax!). Its a service to scholarship/peers I value but v hard to fit in. Last wkend I read an article for a journal; I turned down 3 review requests this wk. Academia is so broken
