Trump will sign an executive order proposing reducing childhood vaccines, and separating the MMR vaccine into 3 individual shots. This reckless move will decrease vaccine uptake further at a time where measles cases are at a 35-year high, and the US is set to lose its measles elimination status.
The confirmed #measles case count in the US jumped nearly 100 cases last week to 2,465 — 108% of the cases reported last year, but in only 7 months. Only 16 of these were imported cases. No abating happening here. And this graphic doesn't reflect the US situation. www.cdc.gov/measles/data...

England is seeing a "worrying increase" in young women in their 20s getting type 2 diabetes. Over 12,000 people under 30 now live with it, and women make up most cases. Some studies show the risk might increase after a COVID illness, but researchers note that the evidence isn't conclusive yet.🤦♂️
"When COVID-19 is caught in hospital, the risk doesn’t end with infection" A new study found patients who caught COVID-19 in hospital were more likely to die within 30 days than those infected in the community. Outcomes improved over time, but hospital-acquired COVID still carried a higher risk.
