"...with two out, you talk about a roll of the dice... this is it." 望んで今日を選び続ける。 Happy October Baseball.
![JP → ENG translation:
"No matter how hoarse my voice gets, how lazy I become,
someday I’ll be a shining star."
"Whether this struggling reality has any meaning or not,"
Description (Pt. I):
The entire self-insert comic is based on Kirk Gibson's 1988 World Series home run:
Bottom of the 9th, 2 outs, 3 balls & 2 strikes, the Dodgers are trailing behind the Athletics by 1.
Dennis Eckersley, (portrayed as my goat oc, Seth), eyes down Kirk Gibson, (portrayed as my sona, Vincent), who's trying to get a hit to bring in Mike Davis at first base (portrayed as @letodiet), as the tying run, (A's first baseman, Mark McGwire, [portrayed as @MarbleBnnuy], is keeping watch)
Vin Scully, (drawn as a koala), notes the knee & hamstring injuries Gibson has, while Eck has his regular season stats shown, alongside the headline, "40 or more saves in a season." A's catcher, Ron Hassey, (drawn as my dog oc, Kai), annoyed at Davis' multiple attempts at trying to steal second.
Davis steals second, Eck pitches, and Gibson hits...

Birthday🎂 (2022-08-26 ver.) I was 26 then; I don't think it's gotten much better since.
![You started working out, which helps keep the dysmorphia low; that's cool. You still run 5k's even in disgusting weather. (Graphic showing 102°F [38°C]) You still explore new music & stuff.
Uh, you're improving in art, I think. Hopefully you can work it out. (Vincent drawing Pansol on a graphics tablet, while saying, "fuck, wrong layer again.")](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:qq2s3sknlebchmidvozz45vi/bafkreifjrowonvomuy5dsds6ylkjknk7exudjrns5oabe5m7djcgwdezxy)
