Finally getting back online after spending a few days with family, and I feel like a cave-child emerging into the sunlight. All the memes are new and the jokes unrecognizable. I am scared and confused.
it's officially September which means release month for ISN'T HE ROMANTIC?

Hey! Do you read book? I write book! This book is all about running from your past, being terrified of making connections, & hating yourself for needing help. It's also about hot college boys next door, feelings being more powerful than labels, & deciding "why choose?" There's sex but heart too.
"A Neighborly Seduction" by Alex Pendragon - Alex Pendragon
A Neighborly Seduction Ezra can’t remember the last time he felt settled. Job-hopping leaves the 27 year-old no time for boyfriends, or even a decent hook-up: after yet another relocation, the oppress...

Current brainworm: In a "my best friend's son" story, is it more fun/sexier to have it stay a secret, or to have it be discovered? 🤔
I have not had time to sit down for writing this past few days and my brain is SIMMERING
Oh what the absolute fuck. So many incredible Tim Curry performances, but I will always adore him as the fast-talking (possibly murderous) butler in 'Clue' This week is just determined to get us all crying, isn't it.
I haven't seen a single bad word, a single criticism. Imagine living a life so full, and being so beloved. To have impacted so many people in so many incredible ways. Awe is the only fitting word.
Paused for a moment to groan as my brain inexplicably chose to recall a brief but embarrassing moment that happened maybe 16 years ago and which has no relevance to anything going on in life today.
Just bought this! I'm a sucker for a seductive demon 😈
Just a reminder that this comes out on TUESDAY!
34k. Look, Dean and Eun, I'm not going to tell you your business, but succumbing to your mutual lust and finally hooking up while Eun's dad is asleep mere feet away might not be the wisest idea you've ever had.
31k, and it's about time our two MCs realized they were on the same secretly-horny page. Is "in the pool while Eun's dad - who happens to be Dean's best friend - could come back at any moment" the ideal time to figure that out? Probably not! Is it happening anyway? It sure is!
It's not "rank gluttony" it's "supporting a local bakery" and frankly I am so offended by the insinuation that I will need a recovery-croissant to balance my humors.
"A Winter Sun Wakes the Wind in Spring Hills' Dream" is over and I wasn't ready. What a wonderful, thoughtful, complicated series. I probably only understood 10% of it, but even that felt special. Happily lots of Chinese redditers have shared insight, which I'll read once the sad-it's-over fades.

27k. Thinking about dual POV and why I'm enjoying it so much here. Usually I love single POV for the insularity: a narrator made unreliable because you're seeing everything through their (mis)interpretation of the world and their (confused) feelings in it. That feels more like real life, to me.
"But publishers, despite—or perhaps because of—the industry’s intellectual and progressive trappings, saw Black readers as an undesirable market, and Black joy as unimaginable. They pressured Black authors to write romances with white main characters" www.zocalopublicsquare.org/one-summer-p...

There's a fascinating discussion (with some exceptionally patient people in it) going on atm about a new book that ties into a game (I think?) and I can't help peeking at it from a sense of "wait, what?!" horror/delight. I'm no gamer so I have no clue what's happening, but people are Very Serious 😳

So, we're meant to post more about our books, and remind people that yes, smutty stories count as reading. I write erotica AND romance. For the first, 'Farmed Out' is one of my most poplar. Think "what would happen if you were stuck on vacation with a sex-obsessed farmhand who is deeply persuasive"

24k words. Okay, dual POV was definitely the way to go. College boy knows he screwed up last summer, trying to play it cool. New plan: seduce seduce seduce. Sorry, Dean, you're in the crosshairs now.
Because we all need a bit of spice in our lives sometimes, I give you this. Pick your poison, lovelies. Kinky threesomes? Got you covered. Spanking? Yep. Stepbrothers? Of course. Toys? Rough play? We have it all. #mmromance #spicyromance #gayromance #bookrecommendation #mmmromance

I have released enough books now that I really should know that a low-sales month after a relatively good one (with a new release in it) is normal (for me), so why am I still all "I should simply stop writing forever and walk into the deepest woods" every time 😂
I'm sorry, but "Barbra Streisand wanted a sandwich" as an opening line is glorious.

There is something relaxing and enjoyable about writing something unabashedly sexual and playful, after working on a few far more planned and organized stories. Which isn't to say I don't enjoy those too, but the silly, sexy stuff has a genuine charm of its own.
