i think this book (a bad case of stripes by david shannon) is the first time i felt fear to the point where i felt dizzy and like throwing up. i felt a huge sense of dread anytime i saw it at the school library it’s lowkey body horror! she turns into a bedroom with branches and tentacles???

the cover of A Bad Case of Stripes by David Shannon. A girl is propped up against some pillows on a bed. She appears to be sick, but her skin is completely covered with rainbow stripes

if i had a nickel for every collaborative album with a female knight on the cover, with a theme focusing on uncovering something unexpected deep within oneself, i'd have two nickles, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice
