[Rage face] we already live in a transportation hellscape. We need the exact opposite of all of this. My campaign promise is to destroy thousands of miles of roads and re-wild them into prairies and forests and also push to make cities denser with trains for everyone HOW HARD IS THIS?!
Yonah Freemark@yonahfreemark.com · 4mo agoUS DOT's new "Freedom to Drive Initiative" focuses on addressing congestion by: —"Building new roadway capacity" —"Recover[ing] roadway capacity from other purposes [e.g., biking & transit] to support driving" [There is no evidence that either of these strategies work to address congestion.]

Prof. Litman's viewing is accurate. I do not encourage watching the video, but it clearly captures one agent firing at least four shots into a defenseless man on the ground.
