The Rules Committee meets at 1 AM on Tuesday night/ Wednesday morning to ram through this disastrous bill. Why? Because they don't want you to see them ripping healthcare from millions of Americans. You do not hold a hearing for a bill at 1 AM unless you're completely ashamed of it.
They know we are, and deserve, so much better than this, and wouldn’t excuse or ignore this stone-cold lunacy from anyone else. And yet, for reasons known only to them, they lack the will or courage to say so out loud. Forgive them, for they know what they do and must shame themselves anyway. 6/6
