I was joking with my homeboy and he said En Vogue’s “Giving Him something He Can Feel” video was his sexual awakening at 11/12. What piece of media made you realize “this is what I like” as a kid?

This is embarrassing
The number of people who do not know that Trump has once again been credibly accused, THIS WEEK, of rape or sexual misconduct by 5 different women while in or near the presence of Jeffrey Epstein... is truly shocking to me. I know the legacy press is trying to bury it, but Christ alive it's working
Thinking of these two freedom fighters this morning and how much we owe them in the fight for economic justice at home and global justice abroad. Rest in power Dolores Huerta!

I’m just remembering when Malcolm Kenyatta lost his election to John Fetterman, how he went out and huddled his fucking ass off to get Fetterman that win. And how with very very few exceptions I haven’t seen that kind of hustled returned to literally any of the candidates of color when they win.

The US periodically murders, without trial, people in boats that it has deemed to be involved in drug smuggling. Again: this is murder, plain and simple. There is no law, national or international, that can even pretend to justify it. The US has simply claimed the right to murder whoever it wants.
U.S. military says 5 were killed by a strike on an alleged drug smuggling boat in the eastern Pacific
Trump has sought to justify the attacks by saying they stem the flow of drugs into the U.S., but critics have questioned the overall legality of the boat strikes as well as their effectiveness.

This has become like a semi-annual thing because a lot of people try to code their ...weirdness towards Black people online as a form of advocacy, because they think that means people can't recognize what they're doing.
the bottom line is that white people *do not ask white elites to make the same sacrifice*. they might tell a white journalist to go die and call them everything but a child of god, but they will never say "you should leave your job" that is reserved for Black people. and Jamelle ain't the only one.
